Lowen is on her way to a meeting when she witnesses a terrible accident. A man helps her to a bathroom in an attempt to help her gather composure and to clean up. He introduces himself as Jeremy, and they part ways, only to find each other again at the meeting. 

There, Lowen is offered the chance of her lifetime as a writer to complete a well-loved series by author Verity Crawford. Verity, who just so happens to be Jeremy’s wife, is no longer able to finish the series due to injuries from a car accident. 

There’s an eviction notice on Lowen’s door, and with the previous year spent caring for her mother before she passed, she hasn’t had much of a chance to write. She accepts the offer and heads to stay at the Crawfords’ house to sift through the cluttered office and do some research for her writing. 

Little did Lowen know what she would find. Or what would happen. 

A Chelsea pick! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✨ 4.5/5 stars. Wow, this book is everything you would want out of a thriller! I didn’t want to give away anything, hence the shorter synopsis. All I can say is that it had me questioning every little thing that was happening. Should I trust her? Should I trust him? What will happen next? I have been hearing about this book for a while, and it held up to the hype! If you liked Woman in the Window by A.J. Finn, I highly suggest you pick up a copy.
