Ohio | Stephen Markley

Having lived in Ohio for our whole lives, we almost felt obligated to read this book. Little did we know, it was going to be one of the best books we read that year. 

Taking place in a typical Ohio town, the reader meets former high school classmates who are returning home for one reason or another. Met with war, death, abuse, drug addiction, once-forgotten high school romances, and many other hardships, we see how these now-adults deal with their past. Bill, Stacey, Dan, and Tina all have their reasons to return here, but things don't seem to go as planned for any of them.

This novel is intensely packed with themes of betrayal and an extremely surprising twist. You will not want to put it down. 

Alicia gives it ⭐⭐⭐⭐ 4/5 stars. It was awesome to listen to the audiobook version of this. 

Chelsea gives it ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5 stars! I found Ohio extremely compelling and definitely recommend if you are looking for a thrilling and dark coming-of-age story of friends (or foes) who make mistakes and deal with the consequences.
